My first shot at a column.
Well this is my first column, and I am really excited about starting bowhunting this fall. I am about to enroll myself in a hunters education course. Ill be sure to let you know how that went after I take it. I recently bought some camoflaudge. I wasn't sure what to get so I asked Brian, the team leader, and he told me a few things about camoflaudge.  First he said that not all camoflaudge is the same. But it looked the same to me. He also said that camo's purpose purpose is to break up the human outline and help you blend in. Also comfort was a big issue with him. He said that if your not comfortable, your not going to be hunting long. So after looking at a bunch of different types I deiced to get the Trebark “Superflaudge”.

I never in a million years thought I would be out shopping for camoflaudge. But hunting is one of those sports that doesn't have any limits. You don't need to run fast, or be very strong, everyone can do it, and that's what I like so much about it.

When I first started getting into the hunting swing of things most people who I know well were giving me the cold shoulder, for example”: When I told my parents I wanted to take up the sport of bowhunting, they said jokingly “ I don't believe you would have the heart to do it”

After some explaining, my father understood why I wanted to hunt my mother still is a little skeptical

I told my father about “ Hunting ignorance” as Brian would say. I told him it wasn't about people trotting off in the woods and shooting at everything that moves. I have always been a risk taker, and I think hunting is one challenging, and exciting sport so Im all for it.
