Introduction by Rich Walton
It is my pleasure to welcome Steve Bartylla to our growing group of columnists on Bowhunting.Net. With Steve’s extensive education and study of whitetail deer, his twenty years as a whitetail hunter and twelve as a trapper, steve has a wealth of information to share with every visitor to Bowhunting.Net.
Steve harvested his first whitetail at the age of twelve and since that day has developed a passion for becoming a student of white-tailed deer. This drive has led him to acquire a formidable amount of knowledge on white-tailed deer behavioral patterns, biology and their habitat. His seminars are a unique blend of white-tailed deer biological traits that have led him to develop a sequential approach to stand placement. Along with this, he provides habitat improvement techniques that result in larger and healthier whitetail populations.

Steve Bartylla is the president and founder of Northwoods Whitetail Adventures. Along with producing educational bowhunting videos, (available in the Bowhunting.Net Retail Store).
