Day 8 - Final Day

The final day of our hunt was filled with cold and extreme winds again. We hunted hard and did our best, but only could stir up 3 does. With all our stands yanked, we thanked Donnie for a fantastic hunt and headed for home.

Before leaving I worked out a deal with Donnie that will bring us back to Bucks & Beards every year. This is one of those places that I want to hunt year after year after year. It has everything I look for in a hunting location: a very good buck:doe ratio, mature bucks, quality nutrition, enough land to not over hunt the stands and Donnie is a great guy to deal with.
