We begin with a a brief talk about archery. I show them the parts of the bow and the arrow and how to shoot it. The Duck demonstrates shooting and fires a couple of arrows. Then they shoot their first round..
They recover their arrows and I discuss aiming and go over correct shooting form again, it makes more sense now that they have actually shot the bow. We have them shoot two more rounds and the Duck pins a dollar bill on one of the targets and we announce that anyone who shoots it, gets it. This is a very effective way to teach them to aim and aim they do. Here are a some of the folks that made off with our money, $11.00 in all.
