Bow Only - Real Standout Products

I love new products with a practical application and here are a couple I saw at the 2004 NWTF convention in Columbus, Ohio. They are made by a company called Bow Only Outdoors. The first product is called the Vertical Advantage.

The Vertical Advantage is a light-weight, adjustable bi-pod that holds a bow in an upright position. The bows bottom limb and cam act as the third leg. The Vertical Advantage is attached using the bows stabilizer attachment bushing. It was invented by Matthew Adcock.

Ground level bow hunters will enjoy the practical advantage of having their bow at the ready and the weight of the bow on the ground.  I can see the advantage of using this product in a turkey blind. Your bow will always be in the vertical position waiting for the perfect shot with minimal movement. 

The Vertical Advantage comes in two versions:

  1. the Original Hunter uses flexible fiberglass legs 
  2. and the Silent Hunter has carbon legs with Sims vibration dampeners to decrease unwanted vibration.
Bow Only Outdoors Products also manufactures a bow accessory called the Night Stalker Attachment. 

It permits the attachment of a variety of accessories to a bow. It also mounted to the bows stabilizer bushing. The Night Stalker Attachment is a CNC-machined aluminum Weaver mount that will accept scope rings. You can use this to attach a HunterCam video camera, lasers and flashlights. This would be a great accessory for night hunting for frogs, carp and varmint hunting.
