Special Report I.D.I. Gear - Clothing That Has Everything!
It has arrived ... and I.D.I. Gear has it. Timm Getts stopped me on the floor of the ATA show. He had seen something that "will revolutionize hunting clothing.". We walked to the I.D.I. Gear booth. An Innovative Designs Inc. representative explained their new technology, showed us some garments and gear and answered our questions. In a nutshell, due to their exciting new insulation , their clothing is comfortable from 50° F down to -20° F degrees. It is lightweight, thinner than any other garment for sub zero temperatures. Plus, it is rain proof, breathable, windproof, and eliminates your scent. And should you fall into the water it's buoyancy makes you float. The new technological breakthrough is eliotex™, the lightest and thinnest thermal insulation ever ... plus it has all the other important properties that hunters ask for.
Because all the garments are significantly thinner, the I.D.I. Gear items fold many times more compactly than anything comparable. An eye opening example is their sleeping bag. It is 78" long by 30" wide and folds up to become a padded cushion that is 16" x 11" inches that is ONLY 2-inches thick. That is not going to happen with any sleeping bag on the market, and certainly not any SUB-ZERO rated bag.
The company's product lines include: hunting apparel, golf apparel, jackets, swimwear, wind shirts, sleeping bags, and a multi-function stadium pack. One thing I have not mentioned about I.D.I. Gear is the price. It is surprisingly fair priced. As you can tell, I was definitely impressed with I.D.I. Gear. It is hard not to be. The same garment is as comfortable at 50° F as it is at -20° F degrees. Plus, it is wind-proof, water-proof, quiet, super light weight ... and eliminates your scent.
