TIP #2: Timing -- One More Time!
Here's a tip that will help. When in doubt about timing, always keep the top wheel a little ahead of the bottom wheel (less string wrap on the top wheel). The initial force on the nock will be upwards, away from the arrow rest. If the bottom wheel is ahead of the top wheel. (less string wrap on the bottom wheel) the nock will be forced down into the rest. Not only is it better for the nock to move up and away from the rest initially, there is less vertical arrow motion when the top wheel is ahead of the bottom wheel. Less vertical movement means tighter groups. Randy Ulmer |
