Putting Water Where There Is No Water Wild Turkeys need water. When it rains this particular place, near the Strut Zone, always catches water. Over the years I've seen wild turkeys come here to drink numerous times. So two years ago I fixed up a rig that slowly disperses water here. Now wild turkeys and deer can water here daily instead of only after a rain. I am not going to hunt turkeys here. It just gives them one more reason to stay in the immediate area.
