Archery
Everyone used a different
Rocky Mountain broadhead. I selected the 'Xtreme expandable because the
point is the furthest from the broadhead's blades. We used Assassin's,
Supreme XP and the 'Xtreme. We took 14 gobblers with Rocky Mountain broadheads,
that pretty much says it right there. If you hit 'em with a Rocky Mountain
Broadhead, they are going down. |

Fine-Line
Archery
Their Bowquiver is a good
deal in a blind. It holds the arrows by the broadhead and the nock. I adjusted
the Nock Bar end so it was slightly shorter than my bottom limb and can
set it on the ground and lean it against the wall of the blind, with an
arrow at the ready. It's easy to get arrows out of the quiver, although
it first took a little getting used to, but once I had the hang of it I
liked it.
Fine-Line was the inventor
of the peep sight with a tube, it lines the peep up right every time and
the model I used had a large enough hole to see through at low light. |

CarboMask
(from Fine-Line)
CarboMask is cool stuff.
It comes in tubes like the original face paint but the similarity ends
there. CarboMask is not greasy on your skin, in fact it feels good on your
skin. it washes off easily with water, a little soap speeds up the process.
On a couple of days the temperature was in the high 80's and the non greasy
CarboMask was definitely good for that hot weather. And you
can share it with your wife/girlfriend/mother, etc as it is also a facial
mask. |

Pro
Ears
The hunting model enhances
your hearing as well as giving your ears protection from loud noises. It
was easy to adjust and fits nicely on the head and ears and is comfortable
to wear.
I was concerned that it
might make my turkey calls too loud, to me, and I found there to be no
difference. As a Bowhunter I was not concerned on these hunts with loud
firearm noises but I really liked the amplification part. Several times
I heard turkeys moving, scratching and calling before they were close enough
to see. (I also used it cutting my lawn, it took the headache out of the
thundering sound of my mower.) Shotgun turkey hunters will surely
find the hearing protection from loud gun shots an asset. |
