celebration of the successful. . .and the disappointment of a few missed
shots. People tell me the realism is so vibrant you can feel the blackflys
bite. They say your heart jumps when the bears appear and you feel the
tension as each hunter anxiously hopes for a shot. Over 80 wild bears are
on film. The highlight of Jaws & Claws is my quest for the rarest color
phase Black Bear in North America. . .a White bear!
The two video set also shows my personal "How To" tips that cover every aspect of bear hunting with a bow. I tell you how to execute many of my bear hunting secrets: deciding on a bait site; how to bait, what to bait with, how to prepare bait to your advantage, luring bears to a bait; setting up the bait to guarantee a broadside shot; locating a stand to the best advantage, using scents and lures to enhance success, making honey and bacon burns that bring in bears, dealing with bait shy bears. . .and more. Each video is an hour and one half long. Both videos were filmed entirely in the wild. Every bear is a wild bear. All the hunts and kills are fair chase hunts.
