As
of 2004 Dave Conrad is going on his seventh year as a Field Evaluator for
bowhunting.net. He is happily married with two children and a third
is scheduled to arrive this fall. Dave and his family live in the small
rural community of Sunbury, OH.
Bowhunting has been a passion of Dave's for over 25 years with whitetail deer the main quarry. His largest buck scored 158 plus and he has five others that have scored high enough to make Pope & Young. Dave hunts mostly on his family farm where he grew up, in Londonville, OH where he has practiced quality deer management since 1991.
In addition to his responsibilities at bowhunting.net, Dave is President of Wildlife Images, an outdoor company that specializes in producing wildlife replicas. This remarkable, high tech procedure is accomplished by utilizing a 3D camera system, white light , computer and specialized software to replicate an object in acrylic. True2Life, as it is called, has been in development for the last 18 months and Dave is currently showing the shelf sized trophies and taking orders from sportsmen at Deer Expos and sporting shows across the country.
This process will take a trophy and copy it exactly, in a smaller scale making it perfect as a show piece for mantle or shelf as a gift or to accent your own trophy room or office.
As an evaluator for bowhunting.net, Dave excels in providing a thorough assessment of every product he is tasked with evaluating. Dave tests each product for quality, workmanship, material usage, tolerances, machining, flaws and shortcomings that could affect performance or longevity. If Dave gives a product a good review you know it will perform for you and you will get your money’s worth should you decide to purchase it.
