| I'll never forget the first time I sat in a car of the highest quality.
It was a BMW and it was incredible. After sliding into the drivers seat
I shut the door behind me -- that is when the quality experience kicked
in. The door had a solid "thunk" sound when closed and the outside world
and all its sounds were left behind. The interior was filled with quality
components, super comfortable seats, and a killer sound system. I had entered
Beamer Land!
I had nearly the same experience when I first slipped into a Scent-Lok
garment a few years back. The quality was so superior to anything I had
ever used before that it was a culture shock! After a thorough inspection
it was evident that the folks at Scent-Lok were attentive to every detail
and took no short cuts on quality.
 
Scent Lok All Season
Mocrosuede Bomber Jacket & Six-Pocket Pants.
This year I received an All Season Microsuede Series Bomber Jacket and
Six -pocket Pants. Again, I was super impressed with the high quality and
features packed into this suit.
The jacket features elastic cuffs and waistband that create a scent
barrier at the jacket to pants and jacket to glove interface. The
high collar also helps to control scent by providing enough height to overlap
your choice of facemask or head cover. The back of the jacket features
a 3" folded pleat to allow for increased mobility. The front has
a full length, 2-way zipper and a 6-button flap. The two pockets are pleated
for more room, close with a single snap flap, and include underlying hand
warmers.
The pants are the six-pocket style that bowhunter's have come to appreciate
over the years. The two front pockets are jean style while the two rear
pockets have a one-button flap. Also included are two generous side cargo
pockets with a one-button flap. The waistband is jean style and includes
five, 2" belt loops and two adjustable cinch straps on the sides.
The fly is a zipper/one-button combo. The legs sport an 18" zipper with
scent flaps and snap adjustable cuffs.
Both garments are made of microsuede material, which is super soft,
quiet, burr resistant, water repellent and breathable. The interior of
both garments is double lined with Scent-Lok's new CLIMA-FLEX. This break
through fabric is 30% lighter and much softer and more flexible than other
fabrics, making it ultra comfortable.
Here is something that will surprise most of us -- it has been proven
to be 2X more effective in eliminating odor than previous Scent-Lok versions!

TESTING
Luckily hunting season is in full swing, so testing was easy. As the
advertising states, the All-Season Microsuede Series is indeed super quiet
and super comfortable. I purposefully rubbed the material together on several
occasions while in close proximity to deer to test the quietness. On a
dead calm evening in Penn's woods the deer never heard a thing. Impressive!
Also, I have yet to be winded this season by any deer, and some have
been directly down wind at various distances! Impressive again. That is
not to say that any garment is or ever will be 100% effective in eliminating
human scent but Scent-Lok is getting closer!
One point that I do not believe Scent-Lok advertises enough is their
quality. It is simply fantastic and has won me over time and time again!
I especially like the waist cinch, leg fly, adjustable leg cuffs and comfort
features of these garments. They really put Scent-Lok over the top.
Since I have not had this suit long, I cannot attest to its durability,
however if it is anything like my other Scent-Lok suits it will perform
above and beyond my expectations.
One other notable point to bring out is the color fastness of my Scent-Lok
garments. Quite frankly I didn't think it possible for clothing to look
so good for so long after going through the beating I give them. My original
microsuede suit has been through too many wash cycles and still looks almost
new!
In Conclusion -- well, actually I think my opinion has already
been made very clear concerning Scent-lok. From what you have read
you know I would highly recommend them.

They have everything I want in a hunting garment but I'm sure Scent-Lok
will come up with more in the near future - They do every year!
