Golden Key, this is the Arrow Rest company and the new SHOOT OUT is
one more in a long line of impressive Rests that are quality made, innovatively
designed, easy to tune and shoot like they are meant to, straight and true.
 
The SHOOT OUT is a Three Point Spring design that holds the Rest so
it can't fall off. It is perfect for both Release Shooters and Finger Shooters.
It is also designed to accommodate both side or top loading.
I had the good fortune to put the SHOOT OUT through its paces and I
can tell you it is one Rest that should be a part of every Tackle Box.
The design is typical GOLDEN KEY. It is innovative and well thought
out. It is made of machined aluminum with top quality parts so you know
it will perform well and last season after season with little maintenance.
The bolt that attaches to the Riser holds the Rest snug and secure on
the bow in either right or left hand models. The Launcher Arm is adjustable
right or left for easy center shot tuning. The three point system that
holds the arrow in place features adjustable Teflon tipped springs that
are strong enough to hold the arrow in place but yield as the arrow is
shot for a smooth, forgiving release. Each spring may be adjusted
to fit the particular arrow diameter so each tip rests on the arrow to
hold it firmly in place. The Teflon Tips allow for a smooth, quiet draw.
The metal housing is triangular shaped with an opening that accepts
the arrow. This housing may be moved so you can load your arrow from either
the top or side. Regardless of how you set this Rest up, top or side
loading, the arrow is held in place at three points making it almost impossible
for your arrow to fall off, or out of position. This is especially valuable
to us bowhunters for either still hunting, or hunting from treestands.
I held the bow upside down with the arrow nocked on the string and the
arrow in the rest and shook the bow like a dog with a bone........the arrow
stayed firmly in place.
Once installed on my bow I went on to set up for various arrow sizes
and makes, and for both Release and fingers. The SHOOT OUT was super easy
to set-up regardless of what I was shooting.
I first tried shooting carbon arrows. All it took was getting my center
shot and a simple turning of the springs and it shot great. I then moved
on to aluminum. My first few shots through paper showed a tear to the left
but this was quickly corrected and again I was shooting bullet holes, with
fingers. I had no trouble tuning the SHOOT OUT to every style of shooting
but if you do have any problems, follow the simple-to-read instruction
manual. I know we men hate that but this is well written and will
answer all your questions.

The SHOOT OUT Rest averages between $40.00-50.00 dollars and is worth
every cent. In this day of high priced accessories its nice to find one
as well made as this one at this price.
Final Comments:
The new GOLDEN KEY 'SHOOT OUT' Arrow Rest is a well made, quality Rest
that is reasonably priced, easy to install, easy to tune, shoots any style,
any arrow size and material with great fletching clearance. It is quiet
and versatile as it lets you load arrows from either top or side and it
holds your arrow in position regardless of how you move or tilt your bow.
The SHOOT OUT is one more great Arrow Rest from GOLDEN KEY and I highly
recommend it for target, 3D and hunting.
