| Gary Bogner's Passport
to America Video Series is a 70 minute adventure that takes you
from British Columbia for Grizzly Bear to NW Canada for Barren Ground Caribou
on to the Canadian Rockies for Moose, then down to Mexico for Bull Elk
and on to Texas for Whitetail Deer. Gary's hunts are interesting and full
of heart pounding excitement as he pursues these animals in all types of
weather and terrain.
 These
five hunts will take you from the excitement of shooting a giant Grizzly
with his 80 lb Hoyt bow over a stream teeming with salmon to ending
up with a nice, on-the-ground shot at a Texas whitetail. Gary takes us
into NW Canada after nomadic barren ground caribou where a shot with a
100-grain Thunderhead takes one down.
Gary's third hunt takes us to the Canadian Rockies where he stalks a
1600 lb moose. This exciting hunt took place at the Gaudi Plateau
in British Columbia, one of the most beautiful mountain areas you would
ever want to hunt.
Gary then heads south of the boarder, the US border to Mexico after
elk. The Baca Ran area is an area that, according to the video, hosts giant
elk and other species that will make your heart stop. From the ground Gary
shoots at a record size bull only to miss when his arrow hits an
unseen branch.
From Mexico Gary goes to the famous King Ranch in Texas to hunt whitetail
deer. His shots on 2 of them were really impressive as they were
large bodied, massive rack size.
This video is very well done with beautiful scenery as well as exciting
archery. The camera work is excellent and the action everything you could
want in a video. Gary narrates his own videos expressing his emotions and
recalling the hardships as well as the awe-inspiring views present on each
hunt.
From his shot at the grizzly from a tree stand to his 10 yard eye to
eye contact with a giant elk, the hunting scenes are enough to satisfy
the hunter in all of us. His videos are done professionally and with a
style that informs, educates and are done in good taste. This video will
find a place in my collection.
