ELIMITRAX Beats Whitetail's
#1 Defense!
Now your scent and the
rubber odor of your boots are undetectable!
I
want to talk about the importance of human scent trail control and the
experience I had during the 2003 fall hunting season. Elimitrax and NEW
Elimiscent gloves are certainly effective. Read on to see why you should
look into them for your upcoming hunting season.
But for starters, here is a little from the previous season.
It was the opening week of the 2003 Wisconsin archery whitetail season,
sitting high above ground level in my Razorback by Hunters View hang on
treestand, I was amazed at the number of deer I was seeing, I could not
believe my eyes. Deer were approaching from every direction including the
very trail I had entered the woods from.
This was the very first time I had used Elimitrax overboot system and
I was very impressed.
I had two Doe tags to fill and it all happened that very day. Two Does
were directly below my stand as in at the very base of my stand location.
Turning the Digital camcorder to record as I came to full draw; I
felt comfortable in taking the shot so I slowly squeezed the trigger on
my Tru-Fire and watched the arrow hit its mark.
Very few times do you get to witness deer feeding at the base of the
tree you are hunting in. First when wearing rubber boots to and from your
hunting location you are letting deer know you’re hunting them, big mistake
if you want to get game in close and I mean close. Second when walking
through the woods you are usually touching branches and other things that
whitetails and other game will pick up on.
When
wearing Elimitrax, I can wear whatever kind of boot is comfortable under
the over-boot system, my favorite time of year to hunt big whitetails besides
the rut is early season, which for me is mid-September. Usually the weather
is warm and sometimes Hot! But Elimitrax boot system is no warmer than
rubber boots I have worn in the past, and if needed I can wear them below
the knee.
Not only did I see more deer, but also other critters that I usually
don’t see running around during daylight hours, one which was a coyote
that had approached my stand on the very trail I use to get to and from
my stand. I even had two fox come within 5 yards of my tree and never
detected me.
When hanging my stands back in July I used extreme caution when entering
an area I knew the Big bucks were calling home, though the season would
not open here in Wisconsin until September 18th, I did not want deer to
even know I was there.
I use the Elimitrax and New Elimiscent Gloves when I hunt, shoot, scout,
hang stands, and cut shooting lanes.
When using the Montana Decoys I want absolutely no scent left on the
decoy, I can now accomplish this by using these amazing gloves.
The Big bucks are really showing themselves in my core hunting area
and I cannot wait to use the Elimitrax system come this fall.
Have a great season and check out more on Elimitrax today.
