Lagazo's On A Tear

by Rich Walton

By all accounts our fledgling archers, Sue & Armen Lagazo, have been doing quite well in the Olympic style recurve competition.

I remember when they started in archery. Didn't know a thing about the sport and contacted us at bowhunting.net to help them get started right. Susan went after the sport like an avenging angel and became a columnist for us. (See Bowhunting, A Family Affair.) Through their trials, fits and starts she has been the inspiration for hundreds who looked to her and husband Armen as an example of how much fun and how rewarding the sport can be. Over the past few months they have been spending valuable time competing in preparation for the hunting season. By these accounts our fledgling archers have been doing quite well in the Olympic style recurve arena.

Susan Lagazo: "Dear Rich, I know I haven't been sending in articles lately but as you can see we have been competing a lot and been really busy practicing 2 to 3 hours a day! Now that we have achieved our goals for this year we shall move on to NATIONAL competition next year! We will also relax and hunt our new land this upcoming season and find good stories there!"

"Rich, I can't imagine I have achieved this just because you touched my
life! If not for you and bowhunting.net I doubt Armen and I would have ever been able to do what we have done. Thank you for bringing us into the sport and allowing us to be a part of bowhunting.net."

The pleasure has been all ours Susan and Armen. Everyone here at bowhunting.net is proud of your success and what you have brought to our sport. Keep shooting and please, keep writing.
