| Rex Darlington, President of DARTON Archery announced he had recently
entered into a patent licensing agreement with HOYT Archery allowing them
to utilize some of the same technology used by Darton’s C/P/S System.
Rex Darlington explained the move; “We introduced the C/P/S/ (Controlled
Power System) ‘Hybrid’ Cam in 1996 built around licensed patent 5,505,185.
Since then thousands of satisfied archers have enjoyed its many benefits
of performance and over all shootability. Darton, since then has initiated
many other patents that now make up the technology surrounding the eight
years of development that have gone into refining this sophisticated System.
Darlington continued, “We are obviously pleased to have our hard work
and design excellence noticed and appreciated by our competitors and look
forward to a long and mutually beneficial relationship with Hoyt. This
agreement will cement what we have believed since 1996, that our C/P/S
is one of, if not the best overall Cam System available today.”
