| USL Outdoor Products Inc.,
the established manufacturer of Bear River and Remington Treestands, announces
the acquisition of the Warren & Sweat brand name. Warren and
Sweat is a 40 year old well-known company located in Umatilla, FL.
USL will assume the rights to the Warren and Sweat brand name effective
January 1, 2002. USL will manage all sales, marketing and distribution
from its corporate headquarters located in Minneapolis, MN.
The USL management team commented, "We're extremely anxious to consolidate
the strengths of our new brand with our current holdings. This strategic
move is designed to enhance our ability to satisfy our customer's demand
on a national level. The Warren and Sweat brand name is respected throughout
the industry for its longevity, solid business relationships, and respected
brand awareness, which benefits not only ourselves but more importantly,
all of our existing customers."
The management team also stated USL will continue to concentrate the
bulk of their energy towards championing innovation, quality, and service
backed by our operational expertise. The power of our Bear River
and Remington brands have made it much easier for retailers and distributors
to offer a complete line of treestands from one source. Now add the
Warren & Sweat brand to the "menu" and our customers should not have
to depend on numerous vendors when satisfying their local market needs!
Watch for some interesting USL upgrades on the Warren and Sweat stands
of past utilizing some our "state of the art" technology. USL
holds two patents involving the application of securing stands to a tree
with a cable or a belt giving customers a variety of solutions to choose
from.
