Bill Robinson, founder and owner of the company for 24 years has sold to
Scott Shultz, Company President.
 From
the Cannon Falls corporate offices, the announcement was made that on February
28, 2002, Bill Robinson sold the company to Scott Shultz. "Scott has worked
hard for over 7 years building and growing this business. It is a dream
come true for me to see my company, Robinson Labs, go to Scott," states
Bill Robinson. Robinson Laboratories is the leading supplier of scent elimination
products, including Scent Shield and ScentBlocker Plus branded products.
"It is a great opportunity to be able to acquire this wonderfully successful
company. Bill established Robinson Labs years ago with the introduction
of innovative products and a sincere desire to serve the customer. His
efforts formed a strong business foundation for Robinson Labs. I came to
Minnesota to work with Bill in 1995, and it is that strong foundation that
has provided the springboard for me to diversify into new and exciting
product lines and markets", states Shultz.
"I've been blessed with some extraordinary assistance in my efforts
to grow Robinson Labs. There are a whole group of talented, committed and
dedicated employees that are responsible for our past successes and provide
me the confidence for the future", adds Shultz.
"Most specifically, Keith Edberg, Operations Manager, started with me
in 1996 and has always been a most-trusted and dependable employee. Shelly
Moore, my VP, Sales and Marketing, has been very instrumental in our success,
as well. Combined with most-recently hired Executive VP, Steve Jeatran,
I believe I have a management staff second to none! I have always believed
in the value of good people and will continue to rely on them as we begin
the next era, here at Robinson Labs," concludes Shultz.
