Barry Hibbard, a Stamping Ground, Kentucky bowhunter shooting a new
Pearson Anaconda bow with the 20o Bio Grip was drawn to participate in
the 2002 Pearson Hunt of a Lifetime Caribou Adventure scheduled for August
17-25 with Artillery Lake Adventures in Canada's Northwest Territories.
Tom Nelson, whose American Archer television show appears on The Outdoor
Channel, will film the hunt.
| Tom McMillan, president
of Pearson Archery, drew Kentucky bowhunter Barry Hibbard for the
2002 Hunt of a Lifetime Caribou Adventure.
"This is our way of saying
Thank You to everyone who tried our new line of Pearson and McPherson bows,"
Tom said. |

"We drew Barry's name for this free, all-expenses paid hunt from a box
filled with the names of hundreds of bowhunters who registered via the
brilliant hang tags attached to our new Ben Pearson and McPherson Pro Shop
Series bows," said Pearson President Tom McMillan. The drawing took place
at the Pearson factory in Brewton on May 31st. The purpose of the hunt
is to celebrate the merger of 60-year-old Ben Pearson with the McPherson
Pro Shop Series and to highlight the development of the new Vib~XTM Vibration
and Noise Reduction System on many new Pearson and McPherson bows.
Barry Hibbard is a 22-year-old married feed store employee from Stamping
Ground, Kentucky told us, "My father got me into hunting and eventually
into bowhunting."
Was he excited when Tom McMillan informed him that he was the hunt winner?
"Oh, Lord. I imagine!" Barry said. This will be Barry's first hunt ever
outside the state of Kentucky.
And the Pearson Anaconda? "It shoots great!" Barry said. "It's so much
better than what I was used to."
