| The scene at the Top of the Riviera in Las Vegas was a
backdrop to the annual Vegas Shoot & Archery Trade Show. The occasion
was the recognition of years of achievement both in the field and in the
industry of one of its leaders, Bob Barrie. Bob was the founder of BARRIE
ARCHERY in Waseca, MN and designer of the famous Rocky Mountain Line of
replaceable blade broadheads.
Director of the ‘Bowhunters Hall of Fame’, Doug Walker made the presentation in front of fellow archers/bowhunters and invited guests. Bob graciously accepted the award that put him into an elite group of professionals as friends and family looked on.
Bob recently retired, selling the company to his son Bruce. Although retired, Bob still remains active in the industry as well as working with his son in designing new broadheads. While the name Barrie has come to mean quality products and honed hunting skills, it will now also mean ‘Hall of Fame’. For more information contact; BARRIE ARCHERY |
