Bob Robb

A full-time outdoor writer since 1978, Bob began his career at Fishing & Hunting News, then Western Outdoor News before becoming an associate editor for Petersen’s Hunting magazine. While there he helped create, and was the first editor of, Petersen’s Bowhunting magazine. During this time he authored hundreds of magazine articles and several books on hunting. He spent 15 years in Alaska writing and also held an assistant hunting guide’s license. In 2005 Bob and his wife, Cheryl, moved Tucson, Arizona. He is the editor of Whitetail Journal and Predator Xtreme magazines former editor of Waterfowl & Retriever and Bowmasters magazines, has authored 10 books on hunting, contributed chapters to several others, and currently writes columns in Bowhunting World, North American Hunter, Shooting Sports Retailer, Deer & Deer Hunting, Waterfowl & Retriever, Bear Hunting, and Whitetail Journal magazines, as well as on the www.americanhunter.org, www.whitetailjournal.com and www.bowhunting.net websites.

Since 2009, the readers of Bowhunting World have named Bob their favorite writer. His hunting adventures have taken him to five continents and is in the field between 120 and 140 days a year. He is currently on the pro staffs of Gore-Tex, Nikon Sport Optics, Hoyt, Beman, and Wildlife Research Center.
