Q. I am a Bow Hunter and a 3D Shooter. Can I use the same scope? A. You will find the ATC scope will be great for both! Originally THE 792 PRO SERIES SCOPES were designed for the professional target shooters. But we are also be taking the hunting segment by storm! You will also see ATC being used by the winners at your 3D Tournaments. With the ability to switch lenses and a 0 power lens available for use in States that don't allow magnification, you will be covered. It's great to use the same equipment, because every 3D shoot is another way to practice for your trophy animal. Q. Why does ATC have different colored lenses? A. Every condition can be fine tuned this way. The Hunter Yellow will give a great amount of contrast when shooting in bright sun into the woods. The Rose is great for bright cloudy days and will also increase the contrast. Many of our Customers like the contrast the Rose offers against paper targets under flourescent lighting. We have also found that target shooters will have eye strain relief during a long day of shooting by changing colors. Q. What power do I need? A. Normally we recommend a 2 power for our folks buying their first scope. You can always go up in power. Also we have many shooters that switch lens during the day. For example during a morning shoot when the eyes are fresh they may use a 2 or a 4 power and in the afternoon when the eyes are tired they may switch to a 4 or a 6 power to get the same results. We also have many 3d Shooters tell us they will switch lenses according to the targets as they walk the course. |
Q. Why do I need a Scope, I have used pins for years.? A. Shooting a bow is a very complex adventure. We hardly ever stop to think about all that is involved. How the bow is held, hand placement, anchor points and on and on. What a scope will do is give the advantage of clear sight and amplification. It will allow you to see what you are aiming at with a defined sight picture. You can then work on some of the other task at hand. A scope is not a replacement for practice, but most of us cannot shoot 4-8 hours a day. We can use every advantage. This is only one reason, and when you try a scope you will find your own reasons for loving it. I will guarantee you, thousands of scope shooters would never go back to shooting anything else. Q. Can I use your scope on fixed mount ? A. The ATC 792 PRO SERIES SCOPES were designed to be used with an adjustable mount. We have had many of our 3D and Hunting customers call and tell us that with the new flat shooting bows that are available that they are fixed mounting them. With the ability to screw in a 8/32 fiber optic pin from the top, and the circle cross hair painted on our lens, that is the only a additional yardage adjustment they need!
