2007 "Have Bow--Will Travel" Tour Announced.
Instinctive archer and showman, Frank Addington, Jr. will again be bringing his unique style of "Bow & Arrow Razzle Dazzle" to enthusiastic audiences across the country at major sports shows and events in 2007. This marks Addington's 21st year on stage with his unique archery show and his 36th year in the sport of archery. He began shooting a bow and arrow at age 4.
Addington's family owns & operates Addington's Bowhunter Shop in Winfield, West Virginia. He is the protégé' of the late Rev. Stacy Groscup, who tossed a Pepsi can in mid air and challenged Addington to hit it in 1986. He did. Later that very day Groscup put Addington in front of an audience and he has been entertaining them since.
Frank says, "Archery has been a way for me to use my God given talent to contribute to society. My shooting gets people's attention and I can also share my message about living a drug free lifestyle and getting outdoors as a family to enjoy hunting, fishing, hiking and other outdoor activities. With today's computers, video games and other distractions it's important we pass our outdoor heritage on to the next generation."
During Addington's show Frank displays multiple arrow shots, hits two targets with one arrow and does other amazing things--- all with the bow behind his back! The grand finale is a baby aspirin hand tossed and shot from mid air.
Rock & Roll Legend Ted Nugent says, "The mystical flight of the arrow has been a guiding force of physical and spiritual harmony in my life and the lives of millions of families across America forever. My American BloodBrother Frank Addington Jr. celebrates this moving archery ballet at its finest. It is a razzle dazzle bow and arrow demonstration of the highest order that the whole family will enjoy. Frank is the master. "
In March 2006 Addington performed a private archery show for country singer Toby Keith and later presented Keith with a Sky Longbow made for him by the folks at Sky Archery. Addington & his wife Amanda reside in Winfield with their son Gus. You can catch Frank at the 2007 Pape's Archery Dealer Show in Louisville, Ky, the 2007 Pope & Young Club national convention, and at various sports shows across the country.
