There is a reason that NAP broadheads are the best-selling broadheads of all time. The reason is trust! Bowhunters have trusted the precision, accuracy, strength and flawless field performance of NAP Thunderheads and Spitfires for decades.  With the increasing popularity of crossbows, NAP has developed a broadhead specifically for this market.  By increasing the weight of the legendary Thunderhead and Spitfire with the Magnum Series, crossbow hunters now have a high performance head that helps increase front of center for tighter groups and less wind drift.    By replacing the aluminum ferrule with steel on the Thunderhead and Spitfire, NAP has increased the weight of the Magnum Series to 170 grains.  With an increase in over-all bolt/broadhead weight, the bowhunter can be assured greater Kinetic Energy will be obtained, thus allowing better penetration.

Andy Simo, President of NAP states, "With the success of the Thunderhead and Spitfire design, we felt by offering a magnum head, that the traditional bowhunter as well as the crossbow hunter would now have a superior product from what was currently available on the market."
