CODE…INSTINCT…AND ELEMENT…
The Spirit of Fred Bear® Lives Proud in New Compound Bow
Series
Fred Bear’s mission was to produce the best
product for the dollar in the marketplace-- giving every man, woman and child
the opportunity to shoot with confidence and precision-- arrow after arrow,
season after season.
In the tradition set by Papa Bear,
the engineering team and craftsmen at Fred Bear® Archery have introduced a new
series of Fred Bear® hunting bows for 2006 that will equal or outperform all
competitors in the field and will simply blow them away in the value-to-performance
ratio in archery departments throughout America.
“Our message with this new series of
bows is simple and direct-- single cam innovation and parallel compression
molded quad limb technology,” said Scott Alread, archery product manager for
Escalade® Sports, parent company of Fred
Bear® Archery.
“The Code model,
for example, represents a tremendous value, $499 (suggested retail) in the
store and $699 in performance in the field.”
In illustrating his point, Alread
points to the bow’s perimeter weighted single cam system, sleek, long machined
aluminum riser, cable guard with a straight carbon rod and teflon slide,
two-piece wood grip, TechTwist™ green and brown BCY 8125 string and standard
factory-installed Sims dampening system and leeches.
“We are talking about a 34”
axle-to-axle hunter that can deliver a sizzling 310 IBO fps with a deeper
valley and smoother backwall,” said Alread.
“The Code, as well as the Instinct and Element, are following the trail
blazed by last year’s introduction of the Fred Bear® SQ32, a premium bow
establishing that top quality doesn’t mean top price for the consumer.”
In joining with the Code, Fred Bear®
is debuting the Instinct, which at $399 will surely make jaws drop and palms
sweat with anticipation. Short and dynamic at just 31” and 4.1 lbs, the
Instinct also will feature standard factory-installed Sims dampening for a
quiet in-the-field shooting experience.
The Element at just $299 is a great
entry into the new Fred Bear® line-up. It is a serious performer with 302 IBO
fps speed and an attractive eye-catching Realtree® Hardwoods HD™ Green camo
pattern.
