Robert (Bob) Eugene Stinson passed peacefully on Sunday,
October 29.Born in 1924, Bob grew up in Galion,
Ohio, the only child of George
and Hazel Boyd Stinson.
Graduating from High School he immediately joined the Army
Air Corp.He becamea first lieutenant, and fought the Japanesein a P-38 while stationed in Alaska.Returning home he married Aase Oxaal, the woman whose name was written
on his P-38.They moved to Mayfield,
MI and had 4 sons who survive
him, Stuart, Jon, David and Steve.
Robert was an avid deer bowhunter.In 1954 he invented a new hunting quiver
which cleverly fit on the bow stem and started the Kwikee Kwiver
Company in the spare bedroom of their house.In 1963 Bob and Aase moved into their new home in Acme, MI.
While there Kwikee Kwiver Company grew to become the worlds
premier bow quiver and remains the Cadillac of the quiver world.Bob’s beloved mother died in 1982 and every year he would set out a rose.Bob is survived by Aase, his son’s, and his grandchildren, Shawn, Brandon,
Brittany, Ben and J.R..The funeral service will be held on November 11that 1PMat the Grace Episcopal

in Traverse City,
