Selecting the Right Scent-Lok Gear

The most critical factor in maintaining adequate scent-adsorption is maintaining the capacity and level of carbon. The single-layer process effectively traps and bonds the activated carbon so that virtually no loss of carbon occurs during wash and reactivation cycles.

In addition, better comfort, breathability and moisture evaporation are improved and enhanced using this new technology.

Proper Scent-Lok product selection is relatively easy if you ask yourself enough questions. Start by asking about what location and what time of year most hunts will take place. Also, take into account any budget concerns.

For warm weather, consider the Savanna lightweight series. If heat is the main factor, this series is probably the best choice. The mockturtle and button shirts are also good items that can be worn alone or layered with other garments.

For mid-season hunts, where a variety of weather may be encountered, the NEW Dakota series is a good option.

For all season hunting unexpected conditions, snow or rain, the 3-in-1 Supreme series is the most versatile line and should be highly recommended.

And finally, the Classic Green Liner system is always a good option for hunters who have a lot of good usable camo that can be layered for all season use. Visit the Scent-Lok web site at www.Scent-Lok.com.
