The first climbers ever made that can be adjusted for tree diameter while climbing-SAFELY!

The Forest Tree Cat Archer and Forest Tree Cat Hunter are two totally new stands for 2005. They are the most technically advanced climbing stands ever produced. The first climbers ever made that can be adjusted for tree diameter while climbing-SAFELY!

They have the same strength; comfort and lightweight you have come to expect from North Starr and EASILY fold into a compact unit for transporting.

They feature the original and patented Folding VTM front brace, a unique patented Pop In (TM) fastening system (Photo B, D, C) that allows you to set up in the dark with no knobs or pins to struggle with.

The most important feature of the Forrest "Tree Cat"TM Climbers, is the patented bungee cord automatic base adjustment feature.

Simply preload the bungee on the right side of the base before attaching the stand to the tree, then attach the stand to the tree with the left side Auto Cam(TM) and start climbing. When the tree diameter causes the stand to go below level simply lift the base up (taking your weight off the base and allowing slack in the tree gripper belt) and release the right Auto Cam(TM) which allows the bungee to pull the belt in tighter (for smaller tree diameter). Then let go of the right Auto Cam(TM) and continue climbing.  No stand EVER, has had this safe, quick tree diameter adjustment feature (Photo I, G, E).

The Tree Gripper Belts(TM) are secured with the spring loaded Auto CamsTM that automatically grip the belt when released. The heavier the load, the tighter they grip the belts. With these cams, both seat and base can be easily and safely adjusted while climbing or for fine-tuning for comfort, when in hunting position.

A patented Bear Trap(TM) style lever and rope-stabling system allows for silent and secure secondary attachment to the tree when hunting position is reached, or to increase safety on the way up, if you pause to cut small limbs. This system allows you to secure, in seconds, your climber as solidly as a hang on stand and they are permantly attached to the stand-NO loose parts.

Pivoting Tree Gripper Feet(TM) will self-center and keep 4-point contact at all times to accommodate for changing tree shape and size. They will not slip on wet or slipply bark, and will not damage trees.

The waterproof sling seat and backrest offers all day hunting comfort.
