About a month or so ago, Arliss McNalley, the inventor of the Bowkaddy contacted me with questions about how he might join www.bowhunting.net with his fantastic new product.  After getting him in touch with Rich, the rest is history.  Arliss has become a contributing writer, his product is making a big splash in the archery community, and via email I’ve gotten to enjoy getting to know him.  As all of this was going on I had a chance to make my own evaluation of the Bowkaddy and here are the results.
Easily Mounts to pick up bed

The Bowkaddy comes well packed in a sturdy shipping package, well marked and labeled.  The instructions for mounting and putting the product together were very easy with great illustrations and easy to follow directions.  The product itself is extremely sturdy and felt like something I could really have an immediate confidence in.  It was together a few short minutes after I opened the package.  Of course if you had any question as to what it would look like, you would simply need to go to www.bowkaddy.com and watch the video’s that are conveniently located there.  Arliss has really thought ahead and done things right from the beginning.
Or ATV

I went straight for the ATV mounting kit as it was around the end of deer season and I was ready to go out and look for some coyotes while loosening up my stands for the year.  It mounted on the ATV in seconds and my bow slid in and locked down without any problem.  I shook my bow, wiggled it around, tried to jar it loose by jumping up and down on the ATV pegs, but my bow just sat there cradled comfortably in the Bowkaddy.  There’s nothing like an excuse for having fun.  Over the course of the next three hours, I tried to kill the Bowkaddy, the ATV, and myself while trying to jar my bow loose.  It never happened.  I did manage to break my digital camera after dropping it into the mud and I think I may have to check a filling in my tooth, but the Bowkaddy did its job.

I have to admit that while it will mount in a truck bed, I have not yet mounted it.  I am in search of a cap for my truck bed at the moment and want to get that installed before I mount the Bowkaddy.  It will depend on what kind of windows I get with the cap that will determine the mounting position for the Bowkaddy.  My friend did point out that with just four bolts the Bowkaddy would mount perfectly to a truck bed tool box.  The options are limitless in what you can do and where you can mount this thing.
Wall Mount

Right now I have the unit mounted to a wall in my home underneath one of my deer mounts.  I live in a humid area in the summer and I’ve found that leaving things inside of storage containers is like asking for rust to find any metal parts.  Bowkaddy has given me an easy and classy alternative to propping my bow in the corner or hanging it from a hook.  Bowkaddy looks great and is great for many applications.

All in all, I’m very impressed with the Bowkaddy.  I think Arliss hit the nail on the head with this product.  GREAT Job and continued success!  Go to www.bowkaddy.com today!
