Ray Howell's Kicking Bear Camp for Kids will be rolling into Fisher IL June 10-11 2005 and you are invited.
The event will be located north of Fisher on 700 E just north of 3300 N
What is Kicking Bear? It is a totally free program designed to get kids outdoors who might otherwise never get the chance. This is accomplished by pairing adult mentors with kids who need them.
The event has various outdoor activities for everone to enjoy. There is a campout on Friday night and on Saturday morning everyone gets involved teaching the kids how to shoot a bow. Then it's off to the archery range for a morning of "letting 'em fly".
Everything is provided including food. All you need to do is bring some kids. This can be your kids but it would be even better if you brought some from outside your home.
You will also need to bring your camping gear if you want to camp out Friday night. If you don't camp out you are still welcome but need to be there on Saturday by 9 am so that you can attend the safety meeting and the kids you bring can shoot the course.
