Brooks and Keith

By nature, turkeys act completely unconcerned with the presence of quality ground blind, and it's up to you not to spoil that. This spring when a group of birds come in and you drive an arrow through one of them, let the others walk off.

If the survivors see you come diving out from underneath to jump on your trophy, they can learn to associate the blind with humans, and avoid it like the plague.

It's not a problem this year, because you have your tom in hand, but when a group of birds see this happen a couple times, that tiny little brain geared for suvival takes note.

Let the others walk off, and then go get your bird. Keep 'em guessing.
