Nice Afro There Bucko By Robert Hoague

When the deer was still in the thick woods and walking toward me I could not figure out what was going on with its head. When he got close enough to see him clearly I could see the problem. He had gotten his left antler tangled up in some kind of black twine,
I put the Sony on him as soon as he stepped into the open.
It was probably some hay bale cording that had blown around and settled some where the buck had been. Our buck with the fancy hair do was a year and a half old 7-point. He timidly eased out of the trees and brush and looked around. Then he darted after some does that were coming up behind me.
You never know what you'll see in the deer woods. This bowhunting is sure cool stuff.
