The Archery Hall of Fame and Museum, Inc., will hold its 24th Induction Ceremony on Friday, September 22nd, in the White River Room, adjacent to the Wonders of Wildlife Museum in Springfield, Missouri.

The Springfield site will become the permanent home for the hall.  Although construction has not been completed, a temporary hall will be in place for visitors to wrap themselves in the history of archery and bowhunting.

With a desire to do all inductions moving forward in Springfield, this year's event will induct Rollin Bohning as a member of the class of 2004.  Bohning was a chemical engineer whose product creations influenced the entire industry.

Len Cardinale

Dr. Charles E. "Bert" Grayson and Len Cardinale will be inducted as members of the class of 2005.  Dr. Grayson is a world-renowned archery historian and collector of ancient and modern archery equipment and artifacts.  He also held many National Archery Association flight records.  Len Cardinale changed the face of archery coaching.  His presentation and interpretation of the "shot" revolutionized how coaches presented the concept of shooting an arrow.

Ed Rhode

The 2006 inductee will be Ed Rohde of Muscatine, Iowa.  Ed Rohde finished in the top ten in all competitions for a twenty-year period.  He was the 1976 and 1982 P.A.A. Outdoor Men's Champion, 1982 P.A.A. Men's Indoor Champion, 1982 Atlantic City Indoor Men's Champion, and the 1982 Tropicana Indoor Men's Champion.  Winning four individual championships in a single year is extremely rare.  He was also inducted into the Iowa State Hall of Fame in 1993.

For those interested in attending the Induction dinner, the reception will begin at 6pm, and dinner tickets may be purchased for $40 per person. For purchase information, please contact Diane Miller, Executive Director, Archery Hall of Fame and Museum, Inc., c/o Budget Wise Printing, 58 North Main Street, Union City, PA 16438.  She can also be reached by telephone at (814) 438-3511, or email at dinkspot@velocity.net.
