In the dark, we followed the woods edge for half a mile, set out the decoys, and got in the blind. We figured we had yesterday's gobblers pegged.
Daylight.
Time passed.
Nothing. No gobbles. No gobblers anywhere in sight.
So we drove to the dam. And then to the high ridge.
Nothing.
In the afternoon Fred hunted near the Point. If he heard gobblers coming he would be able to move to them and set up. But no gobblers came.
