MORNING HUNT
We set up at an area I call the Gate and waited for daylight. During the morning we heard 10 different gobblers as the morning progressed. But none came by where we were.
AFTERNOON HUNT
We set up at a narrow place in a 300 acre farm field which has the beginnings of a corn crop sprouting up. We can see a lot of area from this vantage point. But we didn't see any turkey action.
Just before dark Fred owl hooted and several owls flew in around our ground blind.
