| A Wild Hog Bowhunt In Progress - 2003
November 24, 2003 - Red Hog Down Actually I was driving out to deer hunt and a group of hogs crossed the farm road a good ways ahead of me. I parked. I didn't have my camo on yet but I didn't take time to put it on. I scooted along after the hogs in a black T-shirt and jeans. They stopped regularly so I caught up with them pretty soon. A red one walked away from the others and I drew and followed it until it obliged me by stooping broadside. I put my pin on it's ribs and my arrow went right where I was aiming. The other hogs ran but the red one was disoriented and stumbled around and then fell. I hot footed it back to my truck, got my camera and tripod and took my own picture. Back To Bowhunting.net |
