November 28 , 2003 - The right place at the right time! John Askew settled into his tripod deer stand at the bottom of the Rock Ledge area. Soon a 9-point walked by on the woods trail near John's stand. He was a nice 2 1/2 year old buck but John wanted an older buck. Later 9 wild hogs came down hill to the trail. John drew, aimed and shot the lead hog. It grunted one time and dropped on the spot. Back To Bowhunting.net |
