Scouting For Deer: A Doe Fight (Aug 2 2001)

Both does rose to their hind feet and landed blows to the other with their front feet.
I was 35 yards away and could clearly hear the impact of their hooves. It only lasted 
seconds. My digital camera is a good one, but it doesn't take an instant picture,
there are a few seconds delay depending on the available light, and when the 
picture was taken the deer were done. But they surprised me and went back up
a second time, toe to toe, each hammering the other with blows. I got on them as 
quick as I could and immediately pushed the button to take a picture. And this time
I got part of the fight, the bigger doe has just beat the other doe down. As you can
see the young  doe has turned tail and is scratching off, getting out of there, fast.
