The first really innovative expandable broadhead
is considered by many to be the 'GATOR' by BARRIE Archery, maker of the
popular Rocky Mountain Broadheads. The 'GATOR' featured a unique pair of
free floating blades. Once open, each blade is independent and can
swivel in and out of the ferrule if it encounters bone. Thus, increasing
penetration when it is needed most. .
Now, BARRIE has upgraded the original to the new 'GATOR XP' with GATOR
JAWS' a razor sharp traditional, cut-on-impact tip.
Bruce
Barrie, President of BARRIE Archery made the announcement, "The original
GATOR has been one of our best selling expandable broadheads and really
set the standard for innovation in both the way the blades opened, and
the way they were designed to free float around bone."
"What we've done with the new 'GATOR XP', is added the very successful
razor tip featured in our SNYPER Series. Now the new 'GATOR XP' has the
best of both worlds and a brand new bite."
The new and improved 'GATOR XP' is a tough expandable with these great
features: Two .030? razor sharp, stainless steel 'FREE FLOATING' blades
and 'GATOR JAWS' a traditional, cut-on-impact stainless steel, razor sharp
blade insert tip.

Not only does this create a larger entry wound but also increases penetration.
It has a sleeker 11/16" closed/inflight diameter for improved flight characteristics
and a devastating 2" expanded cutting dia. It features no o-rings and is
offered at 100 grains only. It comes pre-assembled for easy set-up.
