Nolan's Writing Camp And Whitetail Bowhunt!
Hunt #3 - Chip and Me Get 'Er Done

Chip raised his index finger
to catch my attention and pointed behind the two bucks in front of us.
Behind them in the woods was the 8-point we were hunting for. Pics

Hunt #2 - More Big Bucks Pics ... and
Javelinas!

To descibe how wide a buck
was hunters often say the rack was wider than the buck's ears or its body.
The buck above is all of those and more. Here are still more eye popping
buck pictures, as well as the afternoon bowhunt. GO...
Let's 24 Seven!
At one of our writers meetings
Mark Weiser discussed his 24 Seven Scent Solution products and he got my
attention. So when I returned from my morning hunt I asked Mark if he could
set up my area with 24 Seven. He said yes. Here is what he did (and pics).

it was over." GO...
Jay Liechty - The Grim Reaper
A heavy beamed 8-point came
in. Jay kneeled and waited for a shot opportunity but Derrick bumped a

Day
1 - Writers Camp at Bar None Ranch - A Big Boy

A Bomber Buck watches
me and outdoor writer Joe Byers takes pics.
Due to late air flights
several people arrived later than the plan so the meetings didn't start
yesterday. But Joe Byers and I went out to a tree blind and took deer pictures.
I will have some good pics up in an hour. Meanwhile, enjoy the Bomber buck
above watching me from the opposite side of the fence. GO...

Yesterday afternoon Joe
Byers and I went to a tree blind and took pictures of deer that came into
the area. It was both fun and impressive. We saw several young bucks with
nice racks and a couple of big boys. To

WADE NOLAN
Wade Nolan is well
known in the hunting industry for his Whitetail University Outdoor Writer
Camps. The events conduct workshops that are attended by both outdoor
writers and people who make archery and hunting products. The idea is for
both factions to get to know each other better.

Wade Nolan at one of
his Writers Camps
The first of Wade Nolan's
Writers Camp for 2006 is being held on January 30-February 3 at the Bar
None Ranch in South Texas. In addition to Wade's seminars the Bar None
Ranch is hosting the attendees on management whitetail hunts. In short
this is a writers conference where we can also bowhunt management bucks,
wild hogs and javelina. We will be using arrows to help with the management
of this five-star whitetail property.
