It was coming towards the stand. This particular buck had been described to Bruce by Mark Collins as a management buck. It was wide but uneven. The buck came in range and Rob drew several times but couldn't get a good shot. Then all the deer left and several deer returned later. 

The wide buck was one of the first to come in. He hooked the younger bucks as he walked around. When he walked behind a tree in front of the blind Rob drew. When the buck stepped clear of the tree Rob aimed and released.

Two years ago Rob attended an Elk Hunting 101 seminar and saw the ASAT camo for the first time. He purchased aa set and was impressed with it's camouflage abilities. Rob researched the camp print on the internet and then got his lawyer to chase down information on the origin of the print. They found out that Brigade Quartermasters had the copyright for the print. 

Rob got with the company and made an arrangement that resulted in his ownership of the copyrighted camo print.

Today's ASAT has many new types of products. Besides the cotton version Rob has introduced ASAT in fleece, wool (in conjunction with Day One as well as Gray Wolf Woolens), light weight waterproof camo, and plans are in work for blinds and back packs.

Rob has grown the ASAT camo business by expanding the dealer base. "The first year we only had 25 dealers. Now we have almost 400 after this years ATA Show. We are also doing well overseas in Canada, New Zealand, Australia and Germany. 

Rob wants to see ASAT camo get the exposure it deserves in the hunting industry.
