Day 2 - Back In Camp

Following our exciting morning bowhunt Mark Denman and returned to camp. Keith Warren wore a big smile. He told us he had harvested a doe. Then we drove to Keith's morning stand and videoed the recovery and I took the picture below.`

Keith had hunted in a tree that was 20 yards from the edge of a woods line. The doe had wal ked along the edge of the field and Keith made a perfect shot. We followed the blood trail 30 yards into the woods and easily found the doe. As they viewed I took a pic of Keith with the doe.

With the video and photos session complete we visited for a couple of hours and Keith had to call it a day. Then I practiced shooting for half an hour. At 4:30 Mark and I were ready for the upcoming afternoon hunt.
