The Longbeard was one of the first into the area with roost trees. It was extremely cool to watch dozens of wild turkeys congregate before roost time. I took lots of pictures, of course, and made a small photo gallery of the best ones (Today's Photo Gallery). The Longbeard paraded around, strutting up to every hen and jake as they came into the area. A hen flew up and then other birds began moving towards the large trees to roost. I kept my eye on the Longbeard, he was coming closer.  NEXT
