Photos of 2 Rio Grande Longbeard Gobblers that came in on Day #5 at Wulff Cedar Creek Ranch

Day 5 - Last Call
Two wild turkeys came over the hill 300 yards away. I glassed them, gobblers. They moved into the area between us. When they were 100 yards away I called. One blew up right away. (Pic #1) and walked through the cactus between us. I called very softly and it moved into a lane where it would soon see my decoys. My range finder read 42 yards.
Three hens walked to the 2nd gobbler, which had stayed in the road. That gobbler blew up and strutted.
The gobbler hunting for me stopped at 37 yards and looked back and forth. I called very softly. He joined the other gobbler and they followed the hens into the woods.
Later a lone hen walked by me and it is the last picture. I really love this picture.
I took down the blind and returned to the lodge and Tony Dukes and I left for Florida and our Osceola bowhunt.
