Day - 5 Longbeards All In A Row
Our wild turkey bowhunt in
Nebraska was ... well, I think the picture tells the story.
Fred (Lutger) tagged two
Merriam's and one Eastern gobbler. All of them longbeards.
And I got one Eastern and
one Merriam's gobblers and longbeards.

gobblers come
in to push my jake decoy around. I got some super close up pictures and
a chance at a longbeard. GO...

A couple of yelps and
2 longbeard Merriam's
come down the hill to us. It's Fred's turn. GO...

We digress and report

The longbeards return with
a horde and we get 45 minutes of gobbler interaction. I got great
pictures as Fred waited for a shot. Part

with my gobbler I noticed some red heads coming out of the corn field 200
yards away. They were walking in our direction. Can Fred get the 3rd gobbler
