The
weather turned bad right after daybreak. Four hens later I gave it up at
11:00. That afternoon the gobblers started talking and I called in three
into the "gimme 3 steps" zone.

This morning Fred Lutger is hunting the Gate area. Donald "Duck" Beckwith

Morning Hunt: When
Fred called again the gobbler came into view down the fence by the Gate.

This
year Bowhunting.net is hunting in several states and will follow Robert
Hoague, Fred Lutger and Doug Crabtree, among others.

Florida Osceola: Doug Crabtree starts the hunt in Florida on
March 5 at in the Southern Zone. Fred Lutger & I go to the Central
Zone on March 21.

Rio
Grande: April 1 Fred Lutger and I bowhunt in Texas on the Leon
River and with Billy Don at Wild Horse Prairie Ranch.

Merriam's: On April 4 Fred and I hunt Merriam's in Nebraska.

Dictionary defines "turkey" as: a theatrical production that has failed,
three successive strikes in bowling, a stupid or foolish person and a large
North American bird that can either be domestic or wild.
