Day 6, March 26 -  Oranges Anyone?

Cows, across the fence, drinking some standing water. Three deer take a break in the orange grove.

As arranged by our hard working host David Mills, Shafter Crawford met us at 5:00am and took us to his property, the orange grove we hunted at on Day 3. He drove us around the perimeter and suggested we hunt the South East corner, adjacent to a cow pasture. Fred wanted to set up on the North East end where I saw several gobblers. And I wanted the middle, a big longbeard came through there.

But he didn't come today. We did see some gobblers however ... in the South East corner.
