December 5 - Dance With The One That Brung Ya

At the time of enogh daylight to take pictures and video a small doe walked along the boundry fence and stopped in the open a few steps from the edge. I glanced down the fence behind the doe and instantly powered on the video camera, got it on the doe and tuched the record button. 

Co-operating very nicely a buff lookig nice 8-point waked into the camera's view screen. Here is a pic of our video leading man. 

The doe was interested in browsing the food plot greenery. The 8-point strutted around and did the stiff legget buck. A second doe, a little larger one, walked up along the fence and stopped where both deer could see it. From the looks of things this was the mother doe of the smaller doe the buck was with.

When the new doe decided t leave with its yearling I had the video on the buck and stayed on him as he caught up to the does and followed them. The buck cut the yearling off and hearded it away.  

They reached the high weeds and stayed with them as they turned to the north. Another set of antlers caught my eye and I zoomed in on them. The 8-point walked into the zoomed in view on the left side and then turned away and I stayed on the wider antlers. Looking through the weeds gave the video almost a ghostly appearance.
