October 20: Bowhunting - "A Proper Adventure"

Here's Zano...
Well, it's all finally coming together here at Billy Don's on the Wildhorse Prairie Ranch in Central Texas.  I talked with Adam last night after Casey Gunnels picked him up in Dallas.  Officially, among our group, "The Peacock has landed"!  Word is, Casey took Adam to Bass Pro Shop and then on to dinner for a buffalo steak and a couple of brews.  They are on the road at the moment and should arrive mid day. 

We're really looking forward to meeting Adam!  I'm sure the BowhuntingTalk.com group will keep him busy over the next few days.  As of this morning, me (Zano*), Robert, Timm, Steven (10ptmafia), and Rod (ParkerMag) are assembled and waiting on Adam (Norfolk Boy), Casey (KC), and Charles (texbowhunter) to arrive. 

First order of business when he gets here will be to get him unpacked, introduced to everyone, and then shoot our bows so he's limbered up for his first ever bowhunt. Stay tuned, this is gonna be fun!

Casey drove up the hill to the lodge and we all got our first look at Norfolk Boy, a regular in BowhuntingTalk.com who has come for his first every bowhunt with his BowhuntingTalk friends.
